Gulf Metal Foundry (GMF) celebrated World Environment Day by planting trees in the factory premises. The trees were planted by Abdulrahman Al Shaibani, COO, Steel Cluster; Mohan Das, CEO, GMF and Maitha Al Madani, Administrative Officer, GMF.

Post the planting ceremony, staff were educated about the importance of protecting the environment and saving it for future generations. During the briefing, some of the environmental Initiatives announced were using only bio-degradable plates instead of Styrofoam ones, using reusable water bottles, reducing water pressure in the washrooms to avoid high consumption, using emails wherever possible to reduce paper usage as well as double-sided printing. GMF is fully committed to protecting the environment through circular economy, sustainability, and reducing carbon footprints.
